Sarah started in banking 10 years ago, and is currently with State Bank and Trust at the Marietta Branch as a Banking Officer dealing with consumer & commercial deposits and lending.Â Prior to her current role she was a Private Banker for Buckhead Community Bank.Â Sarah has an associate Business Adm. Degree from Young Harris College and an Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Georgia College & State University.Â She and her husband, Matt have 2 children, Ella who is 4 and Reid who is 2 and Â live in Canton (Cherokee County), GA.
As a businesswoman, breaking away from pears to achieve her own goals and not following the pack just because it was comfortable, was one of the biggest things she has overcome.Â She recommedetting past the anxiety by being open to new challenges and going with the flow to understand where I fit in and observing to see how to make the biggest impact.
What motivates/inspires you?Â I truly have a desire to help others â€“ weather it is helping them feel good about their banking products/services, helping them obtain the funds to make their business flourish, or philanthropy work by helping underprivileged children and youth â€“ I am motivated by their happiness.
